Sod, Mulch, Shrub Pruning & Fall Lawn Prep in Columbia and Fulton, MO
August was a busy month for Green Visions Lawn & Landscaping as our team completed several large landscaping projects throughout the Columbia and Fulton, Missouri area while preparing for the transition from summer into fall.
From new sod installation and landscape renovations to more than 40 yards of mulch and over 100 hours of shrub pruning, August brought a wide range of property improvements for our customers.
As fall approaches, our attention is now shifting toward lawn aeration, overseeding, leaf cleanup, landscape projects, and early snow removal planning.
August Landscaping Projects
Our team completed a significant amount of landscape work throughout August, including:

- Plant removal and replacement projects
- 42.5 yards of mulch installed
- 17 yards of landscape rock installed
- 102 hours of shrub pruning

New Sod Installation
Installing new sod is one of the fastest ways to transform a struggling or damaged lawn.

Green Visions completed new sod installation work during August as part of our summer landscaping projects.
Landscape Plant Removal & Replacement
August also included plant removal and replacement work, where existing landscaping was removed and redesigned or refreshed with new plants.

What’s Next? Aeration and Overseeding Season
As summer begins winding down, our next major focus is lawn aeration and overseeding.
Green Visions expects aeration and overseeding work to begin within the next couple of weeks.
Aeration creates small openings in the soil that can help reduce compaction and allow water, air, and nutrients to better reach the turf’s root system. Overseeding introduces new grass seed into existing turf to help improve lawn density and fill thin areas.
Green Visions currently has room for approximately 35–45 additional aeration and overseeding projects.
